LA CANASTA, was my first work of art, created in 1994. This series consists of real analog photographs of the sun entering a basketball hoop. A group of boys were playing basketball in a sunny spot, and as the evening drew to a close, the sun appeared to enter the basketball hoop. This series captures and immortalizes that moment.

LA CANASTA was the first color photographic series exhibited in a gallery in Cuba, this was in Matanzas, 1994.
