The year 2022 marked a pivotal moment of consolidation and personal growth in my life in the United States. Fully adapted to life in Miami, we built our home in this vibrant city and found a meaningful way to make a living.
From this journey of settling in—and the emotions it stirred—new creative works were born.

The Invisibles.

This photographic series was born from an everyday experience in Miami: anonymous workers were replacing the windows of our home, shielded behind sheets of nylon. Their ghostly silhouettes inspired The Invisibles, a reflection on the indifference often shown toward those who, from the shadows, sustain our daily lives. The images create an unsettling atmosphere, symbolizing the unjust distrust toward strangers who nonetheless work for our well-being.

Reverse mirror is a series that reflects on the growing confusion between truth and falsehood in today’s world. Through manipulated images using simple crumpled and transformed sheets of paper, the series creates disturbing reinterpretations that invite viewers to question their perception of reality. Each piece acts as a visual decoy, exploring psychological manipulation and the impossibility of clearly distinguishing between truth and lies in our time.
